ok, I have to say, the best thing to do is to go through the book of recipes that comes with it and just be creative. start swiching out one or two ingredients at a time and see what works.
One of my favorite ones though, is super easy. In a blender blend a half a cup of sugar, two cups of water and one bag of fozen fruit of your choice. its super easy, and it tastes great!
I find though that the recipes that come with it are WAY too sweet and I have cut the sugar in half at a min. from all the recipes, if not in to a quarter.

i was thinking of checking http://www.cuisinart.com and i loooked under ice-45 and it said recipe book not available sorry. maybe you could email customer care and see if they can send you a few copies
