Do different ice cream makers make different ice cream?
like

say there's icecream maker A and B

and i want soft ice cream

would A only make soft
and B only make thick

or do icecream makers just do the same thing?

Most home ice cream makers make hard ice cream. Soft serve typically requires a different type of machine. There is one home machine that takes hard ice cream and turns it into soft serve but it does not actually make ice cream.

I own 3 ice cream makers. One that has a bowl that you freeze, one that uses ice and rock salt and one that has a self contained freezer unit.
